In the photos below note the empty viewing seats. This meet took place when the Swine Flu was infecting many in Mexico and spreading to other countries. In an effort to limit the spread of the virus, all sporting events held at this time were conducted without any spectators. DiveMeets Dario DiFazio attended this meet as did Colorado Timing's John Plat. Most of the photos below were taken by John. We should say the Mexican Diving Federation always fills the stands with spectators and host great meets. It was regretful (but understandable) this meet lacked the high energy levels and crowd participation we see at other Meets held in Mexico.
