How To Have Exhibition Divers In Your Event.

Do NOT enter any diver into an event unless you want that diver's results be be 100% part of the event.

DiveMeets does permit you to have Exhibition divers dive at the same time as the main-event divers but not be included in the main-events results. This done by creating another event that is a clone of the first event and then adding the Exhibition diver(s) into the Exhibition event and running both events at the same time (Combined).

To spectators this will appear like the Exhibition diver is part of the main-event. The difference is the Exhibition event scores are kept separate from the main event scores.

1. From the events management page click "Add New Event "

2. In the " Filter Events " drop down select the organization NCAA, USAD, etc.

3. Select Male / Female

4. From the "Select Rules" drop down select "Standard Rules All Organizations"

5. From the "Select Event" drop down scroll until you find the event you want to create including the word Exhibition and select it. Example to make a Exhibition event for 11&Under Girls Platform J/O; you must scroll down until you find "11&Under Girls Platform J/O Exhibition". Then select the event.

6. From the "Competition Format" drop down select the appropriate selection.

7. The dates and groups are optional. You can run the events at any time. But if you do not designate a date and group the group and date filter will assign the event to the default date and group displayed. This is only a problem if you want to find the event using the date group filter.

8. Click "Create New Events"

The event is now on your list of events on the Events Management page.

To make the Exhibition diver appear to be in the same event combine the main event and the same Exhibition event.

Rationale: To the spectators it looks like the Exhibition diver is in the event, however it is really two different events therefore the results are kept separate.
