A few days before Laura Wilkinson won Olympic Gold and the hearts of millions, she took time out to coach NBC's Ahmad Rashad.
In the end Rashad refused to dive from 10 Meter. That may be testament to his good sense or maybe Laura is a better diver than coach (we think it is the prior).
As Rashad ended the interview, he predicted Laura would take gold in Sydney and of course she did. Over the next 18 years Laura was Americas Best Women Diver. Never to busy to sign an autograph or talk with young divers, Laura proved to be a true champion. Laura's final competition dive came in Beijing China 2008.
