Diver Lenny Layland Inducted Into The University Of Miami Hall Of Fame 2003  

 

Lenny Layland was a seven-time All-American diver for the University of Miami during his collegiate career1980 1984. As a member of the United States National Team, won the 1978 Junior Olympics three-meter and age group one-meter.

As a freshman Lenny finished sixth in the NCAA three-meter springboard, earning his first All-American honors. In As a sophomore,earned his second straight All-America honors.

In 1984 Lenny set a UM record by going undefeated in dual match competition in both one and three-meter events.

Lenny was inducted into the University of Miami Sports Hall of fame in 2003.
